Theatre RN Newsletter is Back!

Behind the Curtain with Nicole, Theatre RN

The Newsletter is back!

When I started the Newsletter 2 years ago we were well into lockdown of the Pandemic. Once the world opened up again I have had less time to write. My plans are to send you some educational content once a week that spans the entire Wellness wheel of Health and Wellness.

What to Expect

In the past 2 years, Mental Wellness has taken a much more prominent role in all our lives. So I will be putting more focus on Mental wellness in my newsletter as well as in my coaching practice. I am working on some new certifications and professional development around the mental wellness part of whole health.

The pillars to optimal theatre industry health are as follows:

• Optimal Immune Function

• Healthy Gut function

• Optimal Mental Health

• Good Sleep, Rest and Recovery

• Good daily Wellness Practices

• Healthy Relationships

• Financial Health

These are the central themes I coach around and they will be the focus the Newsletter topics. I’d love to reach more people and slowly make change in the industry. Healthier performers equals a more vibrant and healthy professional theatre industry. Change starts with each individual person in the industry. Through my education and coaching I hope to create ripples in the industry for a stronger & healthier profession.

What have I been up to?

When not coaching clients, I have been volunteering at our local High school with their shows and concerts. I am in my last year as the Booster President for our high school chorus. I have also been busy hitting the audition trail with one of my daughters as she looks to her next chapter as a college freshman theatre student. Stay tunes to which college or University Theatre RN will be spending more time at. I also continue to work as a nurse in an outpatient clinic a couple days a week where I am working on trying to make changes on how we care for our Transgender youth. I have been doing some professional development on the Gut-Brain connection and how gut health and brain health (mental health) impact each other. I am also working on a certification called Living Mental Wellness.

My goal for 2022 is to have more partnerships with college and university theatre and Musical theatre programs to educate students pursuing theatre about health & wellness.

Coaching offers

I am currently offering 50% off Private 1:1 coaching sessions. Typical sessions are 1 to 1.5 hours in length. We generally meet twice a month. Like any therapy, coaching, or training, 6-8 session is the minimum I suggest for forming some new health goals and habits. If you are interested in making some changes email me at nicole@theatreRN.com or call me at 703-582-4280. Former clients contact me for your pricing.

As always, my business relies primary on word of mouth. Please share my newsletter and my mission with everyone if you know someone who wants to improve their health & wellness, or you want to see the industry as a whole get healthier.

What's next?

Next Newsletter will start talking about Sleep and the importance of sleep for Mental Wellness.

Reach out if you have any thoughts or questions. Follow me on Instagram.

I'd love to hear from you all on what you want more of.

Until then, Be Healthy and Happy.
